i would never go with your suggestion to ‘mix’ caucasian characters in order to, to borrow your term, magically make them japanese because that is completely gross and extremely appropriative. so uh, wow, NO.
also, as i can’t pull up the fic myself right now, i believe you’re talking about Charles’ entrance speech, i.e. the first thing he says in the fic as he walks into the lecture hall of students? shinigami, death god, and soul reaper are all terms used in the manga to describe the characters, so i was just going by their usage there. i’ll happily stand corrected if you can provide a source on that not being the case. though, lol, i don’t think i trust you very much if you’re upset by that and not by the fact that you literally just told me to make white characters japanese.
