so a few years ago I went to buy some lipstick and when I was looking at the reds I frowned and told the salesgirl that I wasn’t certain if red lipstick suited me

and she looked at me and said ‘Anyone can wear red lipstick. It depends on whether or not you dare to wear it.' 

and basically since then I’ve tried to follow that bit of makeup philosophy for every aspect of my life because god damn that is actually some pretty inspiring advice
