Like somehow they are magically not Japanese (where they could be mixed) and then there was the part with Charles going "we have many names lol shinigami. death god. soul reaper. etc" when shinigami just means that thing?? It's so othering and exotifying I'm going to cry? Like literally all u need to do is correct that wow it literally means the same thing not some mystical bullshit

also, as i can’t pull up the fic myself right now, i believe you’re talking about Charles’ entrance speech, i.e. the first thing he says in the fic as he walks into the lecture hall of students? shinigami, death god, and soul reaper are all terms used in the manga to describe the characters, so i was just going by their usage there. i’ll happily stand corrected if you can provide a source on that not being the case. though, lol, i don’t think i trust you very much if you’re upset by that and not by the fact that you literally just told me to make white characters japanese.
